School Rewards Trip – Alton Towers (Years 7 – 10 only)

Dear Parent / Carer,

I am writing to inform you of a planned rewards trip taking place in the summer term. Following suggestions from our student representatives, the school has made arrangements for a rewards trip in July 2019 to Alton Towers Theme Park, Staffordshire.

The trip will be by invitation only to students who have consistently met the school’s expectations throughout the academic year. In order to receive an invite, students will have to demonstrate high standards in all of the following areas: –

  • Attendance*
  • Punctuality
  • Behaviour
  • Attitude to Learning

*Allowances will be made for students with medical conditions who are required, for example, to attend regular appointments or treatments.

The details of the trip are as follows:

Date: Thursday 11th or Friday 12th July 2019 (year groups will be allocated to one of these dates)

Venue:
Alton Towers Theme Park, Staffordshire

Cost:
Approximately £25 per child (includes coach travel and entry)

Year Groups:
Year 7 to Year 10 only

Further details will be issued later in the academic year but I wanted you to be aware of this proposed trip at an early stage as well as the criteria for invitation.
