Non-uniform Day in Aid of Comic Relief

Dear Parent / Carer,

Non-uniform Day in Aid of Comic Relief Friday 15th March 2019

As you will be aware, Friday 15th March is this year’s ‘Red Nose Day’ and we are planning a non-uniform day to raise funds for this excellent cause.

All students are permitted to wear their own clothes on that day. Students are encouraged to wear an item of red or any official ‘Red Nose Day’ merchandise. Students are asked to pay £1.00 each in return for wearing their own clothes, and all money raised will be donated to Comic Relief. The items of clothing should not include any rude or offensive slogans.

I would like to emphasise that the change to uniform standards on Friday 15th March applies to clothing only, and that piercings, jewellery, make-up and hair colouring and other banned items will not be permitted. Also hats and scarves should not be worn in school. If your child has PE on Friday, they will still need to wear their full PE kit for that lesson.

If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours faithfully,

Mr J Cregg
Headteacher
