Non-uniform Day in Aid of National Sports Week 2019

Dear Parent / Carer,

Non-uniform Day in Aid of National Sports Week 2019

As you will be aware, Monday 24th – Friday 28th June is this year’s National Sports Week and we are planning a non-uniform sports clothes day to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Priestnall netball and tennis courts.

All students are permitted to wear their own clothes on that day, in the theme of sportswear.  Students are asked to pay £1.00 each in return for wearing their own clothes, and all money raised will go towards the refurbishment.  The items of clothing should not include any rude or offensive slogans.

I would like to emphasise that the change to uniform standards on Friday 28th June applies to clothing only, and that piercings, jewellery, make-up and hair colouring and other banned items will not be permitted.  Also hats and scarves should not be worn in school. If your child has PE on Friday, they will still need to wear their full PE kit for that lesson.

If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours faithfully,

Mr J Cregg

Headteacher
