Dear Parent / Carer,
We will be holding a non-uniform day on Friday 18th October 2019 to raise funds for two very important areas we are developing at Priestnall School this year. In January 2020, we are planning to open a Well-Being Centre for all students who attend the school. Our staff and students have already started to discuss how the Well-Being Centre will look and how it will further support mental health and the well-being of our young people. The second area of school life we are focused on is our goal to become a plastic free school in the near future.
All students are allowed to wear their own clothes on Friday 18th October if they wish to and are asked to make a voluntary contribution of £1.00 each in return for wearing their own clothes.
Even though it is a non-uniform day, I would be grateful if you could ensure your child comes to school appropriately dressed for the school day and that the usual school rules about piercings, jewellery, make-up and hair colouring are adhered to. The usual banned items are also not permitted.
Contributing to our new Well Being Centre
If you would like to make an additional donation that would contribute directly to the development of our Well Being Centre, you can do this by logging into your Wisepay account and clicking on the ‘Donate to School’ button in the general payments section. All additional donations would be gratefully received for this very important school development.
If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Mr C Burns
