The Emergency Contact Number is: 07970 732 718
Dear Parent / Carer,
I am writing to you with all the details for our Alton Towers trip this week.
I am excited that we are able to take nearly 900 pupils to Alton Towers over Thursday and Friday of this week. The pupils will be able to wear their own clothes and can either take money to purchase food and drinks or take their own provisions. The weather forecast is looking very mixed for both days, but it is looking more likely that there will be rain – please make sure your children are appropriately dressed for the weather.
Pupils will be issued on arrival at Alton Towers with a wristband that contains the school emergency phone number for the day – 07970 732 718. Pupils will be instructed to contact this number only whilst in the park, as we have over 30 staff in the park both days and will be able to attend to your child’s needs much quicker. You are also able to use this number if you need to contact us.
We have 5 coaches leaving from outside St. Winifreds church on Mauldeth Road and 4 coaches leaving from outside school – this information will be emailed as soon as the coach company confirm these arrangements. The meeting time is 8am, with a departure time of 8:15, therefore it is very important that the children are on time as we will be unable to wait if they are late. We will be leaving Alton Towers at approx. 5pm and all coaches will arrive back to the front of school between 18:30 – 19:00 – if you are collecting your child by car, do not park on Priestnall Road or near to the corner of Mersey Road, as it will hinder the coaches and can create traffic issues.
If you have any queries, do not hesitate to contact me.
Mrs Helen Drury
