Continuing Professional Development in Partnership with OLEVI
Priestnall School believes in ‘Education for Life’ and instilling a lifelong passion for learning in both students and all our professional staff. This is embodied by our CPD programme and our partnership with OLEVI, leaders in teacher development and school leadership training programmes.
In 2021-2022 academic year, we are currently facilitating three of their powerful programmes – the Outstanding Teacher Programme, the Creative Teacher Programme and the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Programme. These programmes lead the transformation of Practice, Approach and Culture, so that practitioners and students continually improve. The programmes are delivered by experienced classroom practitioners, who have been specifically trained by OLEVI in facilitation.

The programme is delivered face-to-face, with 5 teaching & learning sessions, 2 coaching sessions and a series of post-session challenges. The sessions last 2-3 hours, and are delivered over the course of a term.
Completing the OTP will enable you to: mentor or coach colleagues to improve their practice; recognise, articulate and model best practice; and create and deliver challenging and engaging CPD.
