Priestnall School is a popular, over-subscribed 11-16 school situated in the pleasant residential area of Heaton Mersey, Stockport. Our community benefits from wonderful students and a hardworking and committed staff.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Curriculum Leader of Art, to join our successful school. Art is a thriving department at Priestnall. The appointed candidate will be joining a friendly, effective team who consistently ensure students achieve excellent grades at GCSE.
You will have high expectations, a love of the subject and be a team player; you will go the extra mile to support our students and want to continually develop your team. You should also be a dedicated and engaging Practitioner who is passionate about supporting young people to develop a love of the subject.
We are seeking a well-qualified colleague who has:
- an innovative and creative approach to teaching and learning;
- the ability to lead colleagues to make an impact on student progress and develop a rich curriculum;
- excellent classroom practice with the ability to deliver engaging lessons and secure strong outcomes;
- the ability to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower young people to achieve excellence;
- an absolute commitment to achieving the very highest of standards.
