Y11 Certificate Evening is at Stockport Town Hall on Thursday 15th November 2018. The event starts at 7.30pm but students need to be there for 7pm.
Y11 Certificate Evening is by invitation only.
One of our students was left beaming with pride this week as her artwork was unveiled on the side of a National Express coach after she won a nationwide drawing competition.
Izzy was picked as the winner of National Express’s Colour the Coach competition in the North after her poster encouraging people to come to Stockport won an online poll. Her design can now be seen on the side of the coach carrying passengers to and from the town.
‘Colour the Coach’ is National Express’s annual nationwide art competition which this year asked young people aged 5-15 to draw a poster to advertise their hometowns. Izzy drew a design which features the Plaza to encourage people to visit Stockport Town Centre.
Now, Izzy’s fantastic design is on display as a moving billboard on the side of a National Express Coach. It will be seen by thousands of people as the coach carries passengers up and down the country going to and from the North of England.

We are delighted to announce another sponsorship deal supporting Priestnall students. Heatons estate agents Philip James Kennedy have kindly provided rugby shirts for our two school teams.
Branch Manager Jack McCreery (an ex-pupil of the school) visited us on Tuesday to officially present the shirts to our students and staff.
We are extremely grateful to Philip James Kennedy for this generous donation and look forward to the new shirts inspiring our players to even greater achievements!
I am writing to remind you that the Year 11 Parents’ Evening is to be held on:
Thursday 1st November 2018
As usual, the evening will take place in Café Mersey from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Please use the entrance near to the Sports Hall where you will find College Leaders ready to assist you.
The prime purpose of the evening is to provide an opportunity for you to discuss your child’s progress with their subject teachers. It is the responsibility of your son or daughter to obtain appointments on your behalf and your child’s Learning Co-ordinator will explain how this should be done.
Refreshments will be available to buy on the evening at 50p per cup. All proceeds will go towards a College Leader trip at the end of the year for all their help during evening events.
Parking is available in the Recreation Centre and also in the staff car park – please follow the signs near the school’s main reception. We respectfully ask those arriving by car to be mindful of our local residents and ensure that the driveways on our nearby roads are kept clear.
We look forward to seeing you.
Miss J Evans
