Priestnall School is a popular, over-subscribed 11-16 school situated in the pleasant residential area of Heaton Mersey, Stockport. Our community benefits from wonderful students and a hard-working and committed staff.
Due to the existing post holder being on secondment for 2 days per week from January 2019, we are looking to appoint an experienced colleague to undertake negotiated SENCO duties as a way of maintaining existing outstanding provision at Priestnall School.
The appointment will be a successful and experienced qualified teacher, who holds the NASENCO Award and has a proven track record of managing SEND provision and improving outcomes for young people and their families.
They will have successful experience of leading a team and a commitment to high standards and hard work, including the essential quality of working well within an established and highly effective team.
This post reports directly to the Director of Curriculum Support and duties are expected to include; holding Annual Reviews, liaising with families and core staff, supporting and developing statutory information and analysing outcomes and performance.
