Priestnall School is a popular, over-subscribed 11-16 school situated in the pleasant residential area of Heaton
Mersey, Stockport. Our community benefits from wonderful students and a hardworking and committed staff.
We are currently seeking to appoint a Teacher of Spanish, (Part-time 0.6 FTE) to join our successful school.
MFL is a thriving department at Priestnall, and we are looking to recruit a Spanish specialist to join our
dedicated, skilled team, with the exciting opportunity to develop the Spanish curriculum and resources across
the department.
The MFL department at Priestnall consists of five members of staff who are French specialists. Key Stage 3
Spanish was introduced in September 2020 and we are now in our second year of Spanish teaching. From
September 2022, we will have Spanish classes across Year 7 to 9 and as such, are preparing to deliver GCSE
Spanish from September 2023.
Our detailed Schemes of Learning are designed to engage students’ interests at every level by providing
relevant and inspiring academic content.
